General (Routine) Podiatry & Chiropody
Initial appointments include full assessment, (medical history, vascular & neurological assessment) and routine chiropody/podiatry treatment.
Routine Podiatry treatments include:

toe nail cutting and filing

Removal of corns and callus (hard skin)

Reduction of thickened and fungal nails

Treatment for Ingrowing Toe nails
Application of foot moisturiser and relaxing foot massage included at the end of the above treatments.
Biomechanical Assessment &
Orthotic Therapy
A Biomechanical Assessment is used to assess, diagnose and treat pain to the heel, foot, ankle and lower leg. Common disorders include: Plantar fasciitis; Mortens neuroma; Achilles tendonitis; Shin splints; Metatarsalgia; Bunions (Hallux Abducto Valgus); Ankle instability & sprains. Orthotics (insoles) tailored to your foot characteristics can be prescribed to aid your recovery.

Diabetic Foot Check
If you are Diabetic, it is advisable to have a Diabetic Foot Check at least annually - to prevent, and detect early, any foot complications.
A Diabetic Foot check will be included in your initial consultation - where your foot health, neurological / vascular status and risk level for foot complications will be assessed. A Copy of the assessment can be sent to your GP.
Verrucae
Treatments
Courses of treatments available to treat Verrucae, including Cryotherapy.

Fungal Nail Testing
We offer Diafactory Fungal Nail Testing, which can accurately diagnose fungal nail infection (onychomycosis) in 5 minutes. We can then discuss the treatment options available to treat the nail infection and athletes foot (tinea pedis) which is often the cause of fungal nails.

Foot Care Products
We stock a broad range of foot care products, including foot creams and heel balms, treatments for athletes foot, fungal nails, and verrucae. Insoles including memory foam, gel, and arch supports. We also stock gentle grip socks.
